What kinds of sessions does WITS offer? What are the session topics?

Sessions are offered at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels and are tagged with five topics: business, content, industry, skills, and trends. Click here to view the schedule from our 2019 event to see what kinds of sessions we offer.

Who should come to WITS? Do I have to be a woman to attend?

Anyone who works in the travel space is more than welcome at WITS. You do not have to be a woman to attend, though our programming and all related activities will be focused on women in travel. At WITS you’ll find bloggers, journalists, travelers, writers, creators, PR/brand reps, entrepreneurs, nonprofiteers, business developers, coders, videographers, photographers, teachers, and more. At WITS, we are firmly committed to diversity and inclusion. We aim to make our events inclusive for attendees of all ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, gender expressions, ages, and abilities. If you have a suggestion for how we can better accommodate you, we’d genuinely love to hear from you.

How can I get involved with WITS?

There are a few ways you can get involved: purchase a ticket, get your company or brand to sponsor or exhibit, or volunteer with us (scroll down to sign up for our newsletter to find out when volunteer opportunities open).

What does a ticket to WITS get me?

So much! Access to any session and workshop you’d like to attend, entry to all our official parties and socials, Sunday brunch, plus the opportunity to network with amazing influencers and brands, the chance to snag a ticket for some special city tours and FAM trips, and a ton of free swag.

Which type of ticket should I buy?

Industry tickets are for empowered travel professionals and travel company reps. Creator tickets are available at a discount for influencers who will be covering WITS on social media and their websites during the summit. We have a limited number of press tickets available for journalists who will be covering WITS in major news publications. Please contact us to inquire about a press pass. You must be able to show proof of employment at a major news organization in order to qualify for a press ticket.

I can’t afford a ticket. What should I do?

A limited number of volunteers will be offered free tickets to WITS in exchange for their service at the event. Sign up for our newsletter to find out when applications open.

How can I or my company sponsor WITS?

Check out our partnerships page. We are always seeking inspired companies that are interested both in growing or enhancing their relationship with travelers and working with travel content creators and influencers. Partnership opportunities include online promotion, networking opportunities, booth space, giveaways, official parties, coffee hours, tours, and more. This is just a taste; we encourage you to contact us to discuss how we can give your brand the exposure it deserves.

I don’t have a credit card/You don’t accept my credit card. Can I still come?

Contact us and we’ll see if we can work it out.

What is your ticket refund/cancellation/transfer policy?

Due to COVID-19, all WITS Gdansk tickets will remain transferrable NO MORE THAN TWO TIMES until 1 September 2022. All WITS tickets are nonrefundable. Tickets to WITS North America cannot be used at or transferred to WITS Europe, or vice versa. After 1 September 2022, tickets are non-transferable. Individuals buying or selling a ticket must coordinate any transfer of funds individually. Ticket transfers may be requested only by completing this form. Both parties will receive a confirmation email when the transfer is complete, typically within one week of submitting a request. After 1 September, the form will no longer be available.

How do I get to Gdansk?

All attendees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to attend WITS. Gdansk is a well-connected city with many transportation options, including: flying direct into Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport and then taking a bus, train, or taxi to the city center; or flying into Warsaw Chopin Airport and taking a train.

When should I arrive to Gdansk?

Our opening party will take place on the night of the 7th, with general programming beginning on Saturday the 8th and running through Sunday the 9th. However, pre- and post-conference tours and trips begin a few days before and end a few days after these dates. We recommend coming into town one to three days before and/or after WITS weekend so that you can maximize your time sightseeing in the area and taking advantage of all the extra activities we have to offer.

Will I need a car?

Nope. Gdansk is an extremely walkable city, and the Radisson Hotel & Suites, our host hotel, is conveniently located right in the heart of the city, with gorgeous views of Old Town. Cabs, rideshare services, trains, and busses are also available from the airport and train station (as well as throughout the city). Additionally, any tours or official events (like our opening party) that stray far from the hotel will have transportation provided.

I have an idea for a speaker, session, or something else at WITS. Where can I tell you about it?

Right here.

Where can I ask my question if it isn’t answered here?
