TOUR REGISTRATION POLICIES

A WITS ticket is required to register for tours.

Attendees may not register for two or more tours with overlapping times or tours that begin and end consecutively less than 30 minutes apart. Overlapping or consecutive tour registrations will be canceled without warning.

Tours and activities are open only to WITS attendees. Non-WITS ticket holders are not permitted. This includes children. Registrations by non-WITS attendees will be canceled without warning.

Attendees may not register for the same tour or activity more than once. Duplicate registrations will be canceled without warning.

Registrations are first come first served. Once the tour is full, you have the option to be added to the waitlist.

All tours and activities are free, but require a credit card to register. Cards will not be charged unless a registrant fails to appear. Registrants who fail to appear will be charged a $50 USD no-show fee per each tour or activity they fail to appear for.

Registrants who can no longer attend a tour or activity must cancel their registration via the link in their confirmation email by 19 May 2026. After this date, each late cancellation will be charged a $50 USD cancellation fee.

Franklin

May 24-27

Franklin isn’t just a destination — it’s an experience layered with story, song, and Southern hospitality. On this FAM travel into nearby Nashville International Airport on May 24 to begin your exploration of a Civil War town committed to telling a fuller, more honest history, then lose yourself in evenings of live music and elevated Southern cuisine. From the creative spirit of Leiper’s Fork to Franklin’s walkable charm, expect quiet luxury, meaningful reflection, exceptional flavors, and melodies that linger long after you leave for WITS in Chattanooga on May 27.

Transportation: Creators are to arrive via air to Nashville International Airport (BNA) and are to make their own way to The Harpeth Hotel in Franklin by 6pm on 24 May. After the trip ends on 27 May, transportation will be provided in the morning (before noon) from Franklin to Chattanooga.

 

Sumner, Cheatham and Robertson County

May 24-27

Fam will kick off May 24 with a farm-to-table lunch followed by a farm tour in Robertson County. Dinner, entertainment and lodging provided at Cheatham/Robertson County farm. May 25 will begin with breakfast in Kingston Springs and kayaking on the Harpeth River. Dinner in Gallatin and overnight at unique short-term rental (such as Paradise in Gallatin, the former home and recording studio of Leon Russell). May 26 begins with breakfast in Hendersonville, visit to Johnny Cash sites and local favorite lunch spot and Old Hickory Lake experience and dinner at a marina.

 

Tennessee Overhill

May 24-27

Fireside Outpost will be the lodging base for this FAM. We'll welcome everyone May 24 to a catered lunch at the pavilion at Fireside, followed by a visit to Hiwassee State Park and a hike to Gee Creek Falls. Dinner that evening will be at Ocoee Dam Deli in Ocoee followed by a visit to Parksville Lake. May 25 begins with breakfast at Tellico Junction Cafe in Englewood, a visit to the Athens Living Heritage Museum, Arts Center and Mayfield Dairy for ice cream tasting, lunch at The Social on Depot Hill, then on to Webb Bros for an afternoon paddle on the Hiwasse River followed by dinner at Mchael's. May 26 begins with breakfast at Tellico Grains Bakery, and an excursion to Bald River Falls. We will also visit the Charles Hall Museum before heading on to lunch at Peach Street Grill. After lunch we will visit downtown Sweetwater and enjoy the mural walk before heading over to Tsali Notch Vineyards for wine tasting and amazing views. Dinner will be at Silver Springs Winery in Riceville, after diner drinks at Morea Distillery.

Transportation: Creators are to make their own way to Delano/Fireside Outpost by 12pm on 24 May to start the FAM trip. When the trip ends on 27 May, creators are to make own way from Delano/Fireside Outpost to Chattanooga.

 

Memphis: Blues & BBQ

May 25-27

On this FAM, we'll welcome everyone to lunch on May 25 at Central BBQ Downtown, followed by a visit to the National Civil Rights Museum and a stop at the legendary Sun Studio where great artists like Elvis and Johnny Cash recorded. That evening will be spent at one of our top restaurants in the heart of Downtown, followed up a good night’s sleep at one of our boutique partner hotels in the South Main Arts District. May 26 we'll have a delicious hearty breakfast at Sunrise - known for their biscuits, and then head off to Graceland and then to the STAX Museum of American Soul Music. If the weather is nice, we'll go to Tom Lee Park and take in the beauty of the Mississippi River before a final dinner at one of our Michelin recommended restaurants.

 
 
 

Walker County

May 27-28

Start your morning at Zahnd Overlook to capture the sunrise as it breaks over sandstone boulders and the sweeping valley below. From the heights, head underground for a guided trek through a cave, navigating raw limestone passages and dramatic caverns perfect for high-contrast action footage. Possible excursions may also include kayaking, mountain biking and waterfall chasing at Lula Lake. Spend a day experiencing the many exciting adventures Walker County offers.

Transportation: Creators are to make their own way to the overnight location by 4pm for check-in on May 27. Then on May 28, sightseeing begins before sunrise and concludes at approximately 6pm in Chattanooga.

 

Cleveland/Charleston: Focus on Cherokee Heritage

June 2-3

Host will pick up group in a luxury transport van and take them to Red Clay State Park where they will tour the park and learn its significance with a park ranger. The group will then travel to Cleveland for a visit to the Museum and Cultural Center at 5 Points. After the museum visit, we will have lunch in Downtown Cleveland. Following lunch, we will visit the emerging arts district with time to shop in a unique marketplace with more than 100 vendors. We will travel to the new Apple Valley Orchard visitors center and store before having dinner at the fabulous Inman Social. One overnight will be at Courtyard, Hampton or comparable property. After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel to the Hiwassee River Heritage Center in Charleston and then to Morris Vineyard and Winery where we will enjoy a picnic lunch. We will then travel to Meigs County to one of the newest state parks, the Cherokee Removal Memorial Park. We will conclude our visit and return to the Chattanoogan from there.

 

The Knoxville Edit: Calling the Curious

June 2-4

Curious? We’re calling you to experience a tailor-made “48-hours in Knoxville” style itinerary that’s for the girls! Bond over brunch at a MICHELIN Guide Recommended hot spot, get active in the Urban Wilderness then cool down with a float in a historic quarry, taste some kitschy tiki cocktails at Tern Club, sample some hand swirled ice cream at Cruze Farm, stroll the farmers market with iced latte in hand, try on a vintage tee, pick your own beer flight while watching glassblowing artisans at work at Pretentious, risk your fate to a trust fall (chef’s choice) pizza, and clink glasses with your new besties at the mothership of all things girly pop at Mother Bar.

Meeting Point: Chattanoogan Hotel Lobby

Departure Time: Depart Chattanooga by 9:30am, arrival around 11:30am

Return Time: Attendees can book a flight/depart anytime on Thursday. Planning for breakfast at hotel/grab-n-go, then leave/head to airport.
