Head to Castle Clinton with your ticket on the Statue Cruises ferry, which includes access to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island. Your ticket also gets you access to the Statue of Liberty Museum and the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration, where you can make a rubbing of an immigrant's name on a wall to commemorate someone in your family. The wall is located on the northeast corner of the island. Be sure to bring a piece of paper and a crayon to create your rubbing.
