Mentor Meetings are personalized sessions offered by some of our presenters at WITS. You can meet one-on-one with industry experts to grow your skills on a wide range of topics, from content development to blog monetization to pitch writing and everything in between.

When are Mentor Meetings?
Mentor Meetings are happening virtually in the weeks before and after WITS (17 May - 13 June), with some available in-person at WITS (29-31 May). Check each mentor’s personal booking link to see their availability.
How do I sign up and pay?
Once you find a mentor you want to book a meeting with, click the booking button under their listing and follow the instructions.
Where do I go to meet my mentor for our meeting?
Your mentor will connect with you to share the video conferencing platform you can use to meet with them virtually, or to arrange a location to meet in person at WITS (a suggested meeting location is near WITS registration).
Can I book more than one Mentor Meeting?
Yes! You’re absolutely welcome to book meetings with more than one mentor, or book multiple meetings with the same mentor if you really love them. Keep in mind that you will be charged for every meeting you book.
How do I prepare for my meeting?
This part is up to you. We recommend familiarizing yourself with your mentor so that you can prepare any questions you'd like to ask them or topics you’d like to cover. Feel free to reach out to them directly if you have more specific questions about how it might be helpful to prepare.
Can I change/cancel my meeting and get a refund after I’ve booked it?
Typically, all sales are final. However, you can contact your mentor directly to ask whether they can issue a refund.
Will I miss anything else at WITS if I schedule a Mentor Meeting?
If you schedule during WITS weekend, it’s possible! There is a lot going on at WITS, and it’s up to you and the mentor to determine and agree on a time and place that works for both of you.
How do I contact the mentor if I have a question about my meeting?
In addition to the meeting booking link, each listing has a link to learn more information about that mentor. You should be able to message or contact them directly via one or both links.
