Welcome to the 2019 Women in Travel Summit Europe in Riga, Latvia!
The Women in Travel Summit (WITS) is a series of premier events for travel influencers and industry members. WITS Europe 2019, our first European summit, will be held at the Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel from 8-10 November 2019.
WITS was founded by Wanderful, a global travel network and community for women. With over 40,000 members worldwide, Wanderful connects women travelers together by facilitating in-person meetups and group travel experiences, empowering adventurers with the tools they need, and growing a trusted network that can help guide them in their journeys.
We expect 200 content creators, influencers, journalists, world explorers, entrepreneurs, travel industry representatives, and allies of all of the above from across the globe to gather, network, and exchange ideas at WITS. We are so excited to have you join us for this very special event.
As you prepare for WITS, use this guide to help plan your travel, make connections ahead of time with other attendees and sponsors, and even figure out your “plan of attack” on site. It’s going to be an exciting and dynamic weekend for everyone, and we can’t wait to have you there.
If you’ve completed the first step in taking your business or blog to the next level by buying a ticket to WITS: Congratulations! You will be amazed at the number of ideas and opportunities that will arise as a result of your participation in this very special event.
Your WITS ticket grants you access to all general sessions, entry to all of our official parties and events, meals, coffee breaks, our famous Sunday lunch, plus the opportunity to network with amazing influencers and brands, the chance to snag a spot on some special tours, FAM trips and other events happening over WITS week, and free swag.
Once you’ve got your ticket, the next things you’ll want to do are:
Figure out your travel schedule, and
Get all of your logistics in order.
But before you do that, don’t forget to take some time to really think about one important thing: Why you’re coming to WITS.
Note: You will not get printouts of this guide, the schedule, or any other materials at WITS.
The WITS team is committed to creating as little waste and using as little paper as possible, which is why we do not supply printed schedules or materials for our event.

What do you want out of WITS?
People come to WITS for a variety of reasons. Some join us because they want to take their writing, pitching, or business skills to the next level. Others are looking to collaborate and build partnerships with sponsors. Many are entrepreneurs, startup owners, or brand marketing managers in search of ambassadors. Some are expert influencers looking to grow their network. And a few simply love to travel and want to embrace the collaborative and supportive community that joins us at WITS. Most of our attendees fall into more than one of these groups.
Before you even start your preparations on site, take some time to really think about why you’re here. What do you want to get out of your experience at WITS? What key takeaways are you hoping to focus on? How many connections would you like to make, and with whom? What kinds of connections would you like to make? Deciding on these things will help you find the most success for yourself in the long run.
WITS Europe Ticket Refund & Transfer Policy
All WITS tickets are nonrefundable. "Flash Sale" and "Early Bird" tickets to WITS Europe purchased BEFORE July 9, 2019 may be transferred to another individual NO MORE THAN ONE TIME and ONLY UNTIL October 1, 2019, after which time these tickets are non-transferrable. Ticket transfers may only be requested by completing this form. All regular tickets are non-transferrable.
Individuals buying or selling a ticket must coordinate any transfer of funds individually.
If applicable, Blogger 101 Day cannot be added to transferred tickets. Tickets to WITS North America cannot be used at or transferred to WITS Europe, or vice versa.
Both parties will receive a confirmation email when the transfer is complete, within one week of submitting this form.
Getting to and Staying at WITS
Of course, the next thing you’ll want to do is figure out all your logistics for Riga. The good news is, there are a number of different options. Here’s everything you need to know.
Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel
Elizabetes iela 55 Centra rajons, Rīga, LV-1010, Latvia
Most WITS-related activities will take place at our venue. However, there are a few exceptions to this, like our offsite tours and Friday night opening party. All locations are marked on our schedule.
Unless otherwise noted, tours leave from our host hotel. Individuals accepted on FAM trips will be sent meeting point information prior to WITS.
When to arrive.
Yes, you should make your own travel arrangements to attend WITS. As of right now, there is no group travel plan. Official summit activities begin on the evening of Friday, 8 November and will last through the late afternoon of Sunday, 10 November.
Pre- and post-conference tours and FAM trips begin a few days before and end a few days after these dates.
Regardless of whether or not you do or want to book spots on our tours or FAM trips, we recommend coming into town one-to-three days before the conference officially begins and/or staying one-to-three days after it ends so that you can maximize your time sightseeing in the area before and after you’re stuck in the hotel all day. Even if you don’t join us on a tour or FAM trip while you’re in town before or after WITS, there’s so much to do in Riga that we know you’ll have a great time.
How to get to Riga.
Riga is a well-connected city with many transportation options, including:
Taking the train to Riga Central Station and then walking or taking a bus to the hotel (approx. 7 minutes for both options).
Need a roommate and/or a carpool buddy?
Please note: WITS does not match roommates. It is your responsibility to make these connections.
Where to Go
WITS Europe 2019 will be held at the Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel, except some offsite parties, tours, and events.
You can see specific locations for all events on our schedule, but we’ve included some quick and helpful directions for your reference here as well.
Our registration desk will be located in the conference floor level of the Radisson Blu (1st floor European style, 2nd floor North American style). Times listed on our schedule.
Sessions, meetings, plenaries, meals, and anything programming-related will take place on the conference level of the hotel.
Each session on our schedule indicates the room where it will occur. There will be ample signage and volunteers to help direct you onsite, and we encourage you to take a look at our map (above).
Wanderful Happy Hour (Thursday)
Join us for our Thursday night Wanderful Happy Hour at the Lobby Bar of the Radisson Blu, our conference hotel! This is a perfect opportunity to meet some other attendees and network before the weekend even begins. Cash bar will be available. Partners and spouses are welcome.
RIGA IS ART – Opening Evening, presented by LIVE RIGA (Friday)
Kick off WITS Riga started with our opening party, presented by our hosts, LIVE RIGA!
Riga is a work of art in many forms – in its architecture, design, streets, new innovations and ideas, and cuisine. LIVE RIGA invites you to see art as an inspiration to discover Riga and its values. Join us at the Latvian Railway History Museum, right next to the national library, for an evening of private access to exhibits and activities. Enjoy delicious food presented by one of the best chefs in the city and a welcome drink on us.
Your WITS badge is your official ticket to the Opening Party. You may pick up your badge at our registration desk at the Radisson Blu on Friday, 8 November, from 12:00 - 16:00. Transportation will be provided from the hotel to the event.
Power Networking (Saturday)
Our two hours of Power Networking on Saturday afternoon will take place right at our conference hotel. 1:1 meetings will take place in our Sponsor Hall. Group meetings will be in the Omega Ballroom. Learn more about this below.
Saturday Night on the Town (Saturday)
After a long day inside the hotel, let's get some fresh air. Enjoy all that Riga has to offer on your autumnal Saturday night. This is a perfect chunk of free time available to link up with some new friends and explore. You can also organize an interest group meetup! This year, we're offering an opportunity for some of our attendees to organize casual get togethers around town. Here's how to schedule your own.
At WITS, you make your own schedule.
Sched is the official digital schedule and mobile app that we use for WITS. Soon after you register for WITS, your email address will be synced with the app and you’ll receive an automated email directing you to log in (be patient though, as sometimes this can take a day or two). There’s no download necessary and you can access it from any device as long as it has a web browser and access to wifi or data.
With Sched, you can:
See all our sessions, and create and manage your personal WITS schedule (which you can sync with your Google Calendar or iCal).
View attendees, presenters, partners, and exhibitors.
Learn about all the activities we offer at WITS, like our Mentor Meetings with speakers and on- and offsite pre- and post-WITS tours and events.
Find out where all our sessions and other activities are taking place.
Note: Selecting items on Sched does NOT pre-register you for them.
An important thing to know about using Sched is that nothing you add to your personal Sched is binding, and adding something to your Sched does not automatically register you for it.
Some things we offer at WITS, like our sessions and parties, can be attended at your leisure (as long as you have a WITS ticket and are wearing your name badge, of course). For instance: Regardless of which ones you have (or have not) added to your Sched, you are welcome to join any of our sessions at any time. You can jump between tracks, leave one session to catch another before it ends, attend a session you didn’t select on Sched, or skip a whole block of sessions entirely; it’s up to you. We won’t look at your personal Sched, so we’ll never know. All we’ll do is check your name badge as you enter our session rooms.
Other offerings, like our Mentor Meetings and offsite tours and trips, require pre-registration if you’d like to participate.
Adding events that require pre-registration to your Sched does not guarantee you a spot, and we do not use Sched for signups. If something requires pre-registration, it will be noted in its description on Sched and will include more information about how to sign up.
Think of Sched less like a registration platform and more like a detailed calendar of events or day planner. Sched is there for you to use to keep track of your own personal WITS agenda, but you also don’t even have to use it at all.
Having trouble logging into Sched?
Make sure you check the inbox (and spam folder) for the email address you registered for your WITS ticket with. If you still can’t find your login info, try the password reset link. If that doesn’t work, email us.
Our general sessions fall under three tracks: Entrepreneurship, Media, and Trending in Travel (you can find descriptions of each below). Your ticket to WITS grants you entry to any of these sessions.
Your ticket to WITS grants you access to all social events throughout the weekend, including our Opening Party on Friday night. You do not need to pre-register for any of our socials unless specifically noted.
Our famous pre- and post-WITS tours and FAMs are free to all attendees. FAM trip applications are now closed, and you must pre-register for any tour you wish to attend. Simply adding a tour or FAM trip to your Sched does not guarantee you a spot. There are no wait lists for tours, but sometimes people drop out, so keep checking back to see if spaces open up.
Mentor Meetings are personalized sessions offered by some of our presenters. Attendees can meet with a mentor one-on-one for 60 minutes at a time outside of programming hours. Our mentors are experts on a multitude of topics, including (but not limited to) blog monetization, social media, SEO, budgeting, photography, writing and editing, content planning, business planning, affiliate marketing, and more. Read through each mentor’s skillset to find the one who’s right for your needs. And yes, you’re absolutely welcome to book sessions with more than one mentor (or book multiple sessions with the same mentor if you really love them!). You must pre-register (and pay) for any mentor meeting you wish to attend. Simply adding it to your Sched does not guarantee you a spot.
Our famous Power Networking event is an opportunity for bloggers, influencers, and content creators to meet one-on-one with sponsors and brand representatives. More information on that below.
Our +1 Policy
Unless otherwise stated, partners, spouses, children, parents, and anyone else is not permitted to join you at any WITS-related activities (even if they do not require pre-registration) unless they have a ticket in their name. The only current exception to this rule is our Thursday evening Wanderful Happy Hour in the Lobby Bar of the Radisson Blu.
Our general sessions are divided up into three tracks: Entrepreneurship, Media, and Trending in Travel. Sessions are offered at varying skill levels. Your ticket entitles you to attend any session at any level.
Our Entrepreneurship track is for the empire-builder and go-getter who wants the freedom to work independently. Session topics can include: how to build a location independent lifestyle, determining contract scope, tax and legal considerations for influencers, remote-work strategies for success, women in tech, crafting a business plan, email marketing, publicity how-to, negotiation tactics, creating (and maintaining) a budget, trademark and copyright considerations, and more.
Our Media track is for the tech savvy influencer who wants to take her content creation to the next level. Session topics can include: running a blog as a business, emerging social platforms, new ways to use/optimize existing social platforms, using live-streaming, the “tech” side of blogging (plugins, analytics, HTML, SEO, platforms, etc), effective analytics reporting to sponsors and partners, the latest in YouTube analytics, how to break into professional travel writing, how to pitch to travel editors, podcasting, understanding UX, photo/video editing, and more.
Trending in Travel
Our Trending in Travel track is for those interested in the future of our industry, and provides a deep dive into the current state of the travel and tourism industry, with a particular emphasis on how influencer marketing can combat a lack of much-needed diversity. This track features new and emerging travel insights and their impact on influencers and industry members. Session topics can include: voluntourism, data-driven travel trends, global travel communities for underserved populations, overtourism, indigenous tourism, sustainability and safety in adventure travel, ethical and responsible business marketing, hiring (and retaining) travelers of color, best practices for corporate diversity & inclusion, and more.
Registration opens at noon on Friday, 8 November and our volunteers will be available most of the day from Friday through Sunday to give you your name badge and assist with any WITS-related questions you might have.
Registration will be held on the conference level (1st floor European style, 2nd floor North American style) of the Radisson Blu.
Your name badge is your ticket to the entire conference, including the opening party. You must ALWAYS have it on you in order to attend any session at WITS.

Engaging with Sponsors or Content Creators
In the six+ years we’ve been planning the Women in Travel Summit, we’ve learned a thing or two about the dynamic between content creators and brands. Mainly, you are both excited to meet each other.
Did you know that around the world today, blogs are the #1 resource that Millennials are using to make purchasing decisions? Did you also know that 65% of companies work with influencers to get their message out (which also means that one in three companies still doesn’t)?
Digital influencers are revolutionizing the marketing space, and we’re no stranger to the increasing importance they’re playing in the professional world.
But here’s the truth.
Content creators: Even though more and more companies are working with bloggers and influencers, you still need to make the case for why a company should work with you. There are thousands (millions?) of bloggers out there ... how do you stand out? What can you offer a brand that they can’t get from anyone else? How can you prove your ROI (return on investment) to them; how can they be sure that they will get value out of working with you? And not just that, but how can you help them reach their marketing goals and leave them begging for more?
And brand reps? Even though the content creators at our event are looking for partnerships, you still need to make the case for why your company is worth working with. For many of our attendees, their digital properties are their full time jobs, and they care immensely about being authentic and ethical for their audience. What does your product/destination/brand/etc offer their readers that others don’t? How are you preserving and prioritizing the integrity of your company or organization’s marketing? And are you willing and able to pay fairly for what you want out of this relationship?
As you gear up for WITS, take these tips to heart. They’ll help you during our weekend of excitement and for many months to come.
Fine tune your goals ahead of time.
Before you even get to WITS, you should know what types of partnerships you are looking to establish, how you want to work with collaborators, and who you want to meet.
Think about what you or your brand are good at, how you can provide value to the people you’re trying to reach, and what is most important to you in maintaining a mutually beneficial business relationship.
Do your readers respond extremely well to your product reviews? Are you trying to hit a target demographic with your product and in need of influencers who can help you reach it? Are you looking to visit more places and get on more press trips?
Is your boss simply looking for more website traffic? Do you want to score an official sponsor who receives a comprehensive marketing package on your site? Do you need brand evangelists to help you get real, valuable conversions?
Think about what you’re going to WITS for, and what types of partnerships you want to leave with.
Do your research.
Take a look at the WITS Europe page to see which official sponsors and well-known speakers, presenters, and influencers are attending WITS beforehand, and check out our schedule to see who else is attending from which brands or blogs.
If you’re an influencer, get to know the companies you want to network with. Have they worked with bloggers before? Have they attended a blogging summit before? Do they seem to have clear goals in mind, or are they open to your ideas?
If you’re a brand representative, look for people in your target market or demographic whose followers you think are worth reaching (and hey, maybe that’s everyone – that’s okay too!).
Set up meetings.
Even if you have every intention of meeting with everyone on your list, sometimes time slips away from us at conferences.
If there is an opportunity with someone you absolutely do not want to pass up, set up a meeting with them so you can be confident you will have time to get to know each other. Use the breaks between sessions to your advantage or set up a time during session activities where you can have a quieter moment with someone you’re really looking to connect with.

Practice your elevator pitch.
Can you tell us what your blog or brand is about in 30 seconds or less? How about a minute?
Practice a couple iterations of your pitch, from an “elevator pitch” (a pitch so short that you could supposedly complete it in an elevator and keep your audience hungry for more) to a 3- or 5-minute explanation. This is your chance to make a memorable impression.
If you don’t follow up with someone you’ve spoken with after WITS is over, you’ve more likely than not wasted all your hard work. This is possibly one of the best (and easiest) ways to keep connections flowing. Just because you may not work with someone right away doesn’t mean you won’t ever work together. Keep in touch with a quick email (and a reminder of who you are), or find them on LinkedIn. You’ll be glad you did.
Delivering value goes both ways.
Think about how working together will benefit both of you. There are so many different ways for brands to work with creators, and the best partnerships are those that are mutually beneficial. Don’t be afraid to pitch new ideas if you can think of a great way to find success together.
Some extra tips for bloggers, influencers, and content creators.
Leave Your Shyness at the Door
One of the things we’ve noticed at past WITS events is that, sometimes, our sponsors are just as nervous as our creators are. It takes a lot to engage someone in conversation that you’ve never met before. Take the initiative to be extra outgoing and friendly when you meet people at WITS – that’s what networking is about, after all. Don’t be afraid to go up to a sponsor’s table and ask them questions about their company, their marketing goals, how they work with bloggers, why they came to WITS, and other things that might help you develop a partnership. If you can approach them and make an amazing first impression, they’ll remember you over the other 200+ people at the summit.
Creators: Create a Great Media Kit
Your media kit doesn’t need to be more than a page, but you should definitely have one. It allows a potential partner to leave with something tangible and to remember you after they get home and clear their head from a busy and exciting weekend. Have it be short and to the point. There are a number of excellent media kits online and a quick Google search will give you more than enough examples to work with.
Don’t Let Numbers Hold You Back
While numbers are still important, it’s not always about having the most followers. Engagement speaks volumes and if you can show that your readers are engaged with what you’re saying, sponsors will be scrambling at the door for you. If you’re new, consider using metrics like growth rather than number of readers. That can show a potential partner that you’re worth investing in now. If you’re looking for brand ambassadors or creators to work with, pay close attention to their engagement – not just their follower counts.
Most importantly, have fun.
WITS is an amazing opportunity to get front-and-center with some incredible companies and a whole community of wildly talented content creators. At the end of the day, you’ll get out of it exactly what you put in, so take it easy, don’t put too much pressure on yourself, and have a great time.

If you’re looking for a great way to meet brands or partners, you’re going to love our famous two hours of Power Networking on Saturday afternoon. We have an incredible lineup of people coming to WITS and they want to meet with you! Now you can get the wheels in motion.
Power Networking was created to facilitate networking meetings between non-sponsoring attendees (both Media and Industry) and sponsors (companies who have purchased a sponsorship that includes access to Power Networking).
Power Networking runs in two ways: through 1-on-1 Meetings and through Group Meetings. All meetings are 10 minutes long, with 2 minutes in between to move to your next appointment. We will make announcements to keep you on schedule as you meet with all of your appointments.

1-on-1 Meetings can be requested between non-sponsoring attendees and sponsors only.
1-on-1 Meetings are an opportunity for bloggers, influencers, content creators, and even non-sponsoring brand representatives to schedule personal meetings with sponsors who are looking to work with them. WITS partners with BloggerBridge to schedule these meetings, and only registered WITS attendees will receive invitations to join.
Group Meetings are open to anyone attending WITS.
Group Meetings give our sponsor representatives the opportunity to speak to a small group of attendees about the kinds of partnerships they're looking for. There is capacity for nine attendees in each Group Meeting. Meeting in a more intimate and guided way like this gives both attendees and sponsor representatives the chance to learn more about each other and build long-lasting relationships.
Follow these steps to request 1-on-1 Meetings or register for Group Meetings:
STEP 1: Wait for us to set up your profile.
We will automatically import your registration from WITS into BloggerBridge, but it will take a few days after you register. Please be patient!
You don’t need to register for a BloggerBridge account; we will do that for you. If you register for a BloggerBridge account and use a different email address from the one you used when you registered for WITS, you will not be able to use the platform.
If you’re unsure which email you registered for WITS with, look for your Eventbrite ticket confirmation.
STEP 2: Log in to your account.
Once we create your account, you will receive an email notifying you that your profile has been created for WITS Power Networking. Upon receiving that email, you will be able to access BloggerBridge at wits.bloggerbridge.com.
To access your account, you will need the email address that you used to register for WITS.
If you have already used BloggerBridge with your email address at another event, your password will be the same.
If you registered for WITS more than one week ago and have not receive an email confirming your account setup, look in your Spam folder or try the password reset page.
STEP 3: Complete your profile.
Add your bio and link your blog accounts, including analytics, to showcase yourself and your brand to sponsors you may be meeting with. You can edit your profile by selecting “Update Profile” from the right menu bar, as seen below.
STEP 4: To request a 1-on-1 Meeting.
Select “Meetings” from the top right menu as seen above. This will take you to your schedule page. If you’d like to manually block off any time slots, just click the green “Available” button for that time slot, as seen below, and it will change to a red “Reserved” button.
To request a meeting with a sponsor, select the “Book an Appointment” link from the right menu bar, as seen above.
You will be redirected to a page that lists all WITS Riga sponsors. From there, you can select which sponsor you would like to meet with by clicking the sponsor’s logo or name.
To request a 1-on-1 Meeting with a sponsor, select “Invite” from the sponsor’s profile. You can also send a message to a sponsor representative by selecting “Message,” as seen below.
If a sponsor accepts your 1-on-1 request, its logo will appear on your Meetings page, as seen below. 1-on-1 Meetings will only appear on your Meetings page if your meeting request has been accepted.
STEP 5: To request a Group Meeting.
Select “Meetings” from the top right menu as outlined in Step 4. This will take you to your schedule page.
Select the “Book an Appointment” link from the right menu bar, as outlined in Step 4, and select which sponsor you would like to meet with.
If the sponsor has Group Meetings available, you will see a button that says “Attend Group Meeting” to the left of the “Invite” and “Message” buttons on the sponsor profile, as seen above. If you do not see an “Attend Group Meeting” button, this means that that sponsor does not have any Group Meetings available.
Once you select “Attend Group Meeting,” you will be redirected to a page that looks like the below.
Select “Choose” next to the Group Meeting time you would like to join.
Once you add a Group Meeting, it will automatically appear on your Meetings page, no confirmation required.
You may cancel a 1-on-1 or Group Meeting at any time by selecting the “Cancel” button under the scheduled meeting sponsor logo on your Meetings page, as seen below.

How to Make the Most of Your WITS
If you’ve never attended WITS before, you may be thinking some of the following:

Whether you’re a first-time attendee or an old pro, here are some pointers to help you maximize your WITS experience.
How and why to get business cards.
You’re going to meet so many interesting people at WITS. Make sure you network and connect with them.
The easiest way to stay connected is to exchange business cards. You don’t need anything fancy, just a simple card with your contact information. DIY printable business cards are a quick and easy way to create business cards if you don’t want to place an order for cards, but there are also plenty of websites where you can design (either yourself or through their design tool) and print a whole stack.
Pro Tip: On the back of each business card, jot down a quick note about the person to jog your memory later when looking back and following up with your new connections.
Network, network, network.
If you are a little shy or perhaps unsure of how to mix, mingle, and connect at WITS, read this helpful guide.
There’s no official dress code for WITS, but most attendees wear a mix of casual chic and business casual.
Wear what you feel great in. You’ll be on the move throughout the weekend, and there’s nothing worse than being out and about for an extended period of time in an outfit you hate. Even if you’re staying at our host hotel, there will likely be occasions when you won’t have time to dash back to your room and change before the next event. Packing a mix of comfortable casual clothing along with a few dressy items should do the trick (Just remember to also save some space for all the gift bag goodies you’ll receive).
And don’t forget: Layers are your friend.
With so many fun and exciting things going on throughout the weekend, it’s easy to become a little overwhelmed.
Take a look at the schedule before arrival and make a list of all the activities, networking events, and sessions you’re interested in. You can also sign up for Sched (more on that above) so that you can design your own personalized schedule and keep track of all the sessions you’re planning to attend.
Remember that we offer several session tracks at WITS. You can attend sessions in a variety of tracks to maximize your WITS experience and tailor your personal schedule to best suit your interests.
Try to take your time and enjoy it all. If you can’t make it to everything that strikes your fancy, don’t worry.
And be sure to take breaks and get a good night’s rest so that you can do it all again the next day.

Make sure to stop by the WITS Store, where you can purchase swag from your favorite session presenters. Prepare yourself for cute tote bags, knowledge-packed books, online courses taught by experts, and more.
Pack your survival kit.
Pack a small bag that’s easy to carry around with you throughout the day with water, a snack, gum or mints, a note taking instrument (whether that be a pad and pen, your laptop, or a smartphone), and any necessary chargers. Having a light sweater or scarf on hand is also a good idea in case the conference rooms are a bit chilly (like we said — layers).
Most importantly, be yourself and enjoy the experience. WITS is an all-encompassing, encouraging, and welcoming conference. You’ll feel right at home with the rest of our crew.
WiFi at WITS.
We offer free WiFi for all attendees at WITS — especially so you can tweet, Facebook, and Instagram up a storm. Be sure to use our official #WITSRiga hashtag, and show #LiveRiga some love, as well. (PS – You don't have to wait until the conference to use these hashtags. Feel free to post away at any time!
Meal offerings, dietary restrictions, and special needs.
As of right now, Saturday and Sunday breakfast for those staying at the hotel, Saturday lunch and our famous Sunday Brunch will be offered at WITS. Locations for other meals offsite will be recommended as we near our WITS date. This information is subject to change.
Part of our commitment to inclusion also includes a commitment to accessibility. If you require any assistance (including dietary specifications, physical assistance, visual or audio aid, etc), you should have shared this in the appropriate section when purchasing your ticket, but you can also send us an email at any time. Sara, our Operations & Logistics Chair, takes this very seriously. If you listed a dietary restriction when you bought your ticket, we can guarantee that she will make sure you have something to eat at every meal.
Will the WITS sessions be available to stream or watch online?
We will not be live-streaming WITS or recording any of the sessions in full (although we’ve been known to broadcast our keynotes on Facebook Live).
